The Governing Council of the Educational Institution operates as the highest and supervisory body.
According to the procedure for forming the collegial governing council of initial (vocational) and secondary vocational state educational institutions, the Council consists of 11 internal and external stakeholders, including representatives from the institution's teaching and student bodies, social partners, the founder, and the authorized body of state education management (hereinafter referred to as the authorized body).
From the composition of the governing body, the president of the governing council is elected by closed secret ballot, excluding representatives of the student and teaching bodies.
The Council’s work is carried out according to a work plan, taking into account the institution’s resources and development program. The Council exercises its powers assigned by law through organizing its work, convening meetings, making decisions in the prescribed manner, as well as through other methods defined by the institution’s charter.
The agendas of the governing body meetings are formed based on the regular activities of the educational institution (recorded in the meeting schedule). If necessary, extraordinary meetings may be convened, during which the necessary issues and questions are recorded and discussed.
All meetings are recorded by the secretary of the governing body, and the records are documented in the meeting minutes register. Five days before each meeting, Council members are properly notified about the time, place, and agenda of the meeting, and an announcement is also posted in a visible location in the educational institution. The decisions made during the meetings are discussed in the governing bodies and implemented.
When making any decision, the availability of human, financial, and material-technical resources is taken into account.
